Thank you for purchasing from Talcada Store, Powered by Talcada. We are committed to providing quality testing products and services. This policy explains how cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled for all products, including Drug Testing Kits, DNA Testing Kits, and STD Testing Kits.
1. General Refund Guidelines
- Cancellation or refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original order date.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- All requests must be submitted in writing to support@talcada.com and include your order number and reason for the request.
- Requests made after 30 days from the order date are not eligible for refunds.
2. Home Testing Kits (Drug, DNA & STD Kits)
This section applies to all home-use testing kits purchased through Talcada Store.
Before Shipment
- Orders canceled before shipment are eligible for a full refund minus a $35 administrative processing fee.
After Shipment (Unused Kits Only)
- If the kit has shipped but remains unopened and unused, you may request a refund within 30 days.
- Approved refunds will be issued at 50% of the kit price minus shipping costs.
- The kit must be returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was on our part.
Used or Opened Kits
- No refunds will be issued for kits that have been opened, used, activated, registered, or returned to the laboratory for testing.
- Due to the sensitive and regulated nature of Drug, DNA, and STD testing products, opened kits cannot be resold or reused.
3. Legal & Lab-Based Testing Services
This section applies to legal DNA tests, lab-confirmed drug tests, or STD testing services that require specimen collection or laboratory processing.
Case Initiated / Lab Processing Started
- Once a case has been initiated, lab order created, or specimen collection scheduled, a non-refundable administrative fee applies.
- Once a sample has been collected or laboratory processing has begun, the order is non-refundable.
Missed Appointments
- If a scheduled collection appointment is missed without prior notice, the test fee remains non-refundable.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect kit:
- You must notify us within 5 business days of delivery.
- We may require photos or documentation.
- Upon verification, we will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.
5. Lost or Delayed Shipments
- Talcada Store is not responsible for carrier delays once a package has been shipped.
- If a package is lost in transit, we will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and determine appropriate next steps.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund:
- Email support@talcada.com
- Include your order number, purchase date, and reason for the request
- If returning an unused kit, wait for return authorization instructions before shipping
Refund reviews are typically completed within 7–10 business days.
7. Important Notice
Because Drug Testing Kits, DNA Kits, and STD Testing Kits involve health, safety, and laboratory processing standards, strict refund limitations apply once a kit has been opened, registered, or used.
